Illegal mansion demolished on Ibiza

On Ibiza the Spanish authorities have started the demolition of a mansion owned by the French-Romanian musician and producer Michael Cretu.

The Supreme Court in Madrid ruled that the house had been built illegally on the island resort as it is located in a nature reserve and it exceeds maximum measurements allowed. Nature activists had taken legal action against Mr Cretu. The size of the house is 3,000 square metres and it is worth at least 18 million euros.
